Quality is a subject close to our hearts and a constant challenge in terms of ongoing improvement. Our customers and our own high expectations set our standard of quality.
In order to meet our quality targets, we follow a strict, future-oriented four-stage model:
We rely on constant microbiological, physical, sensory and chemical product monitoring in our internal laboratory and independent scientific facilities. In keeping with the motto “Trust is good, control is better”, our products are subjected to constant quality checks – for example by having around 18,000 analyses a year performed in accredited laboratories run by independent service providers.
In our own laboratory, around 25 staff perform “in-process checks” around the clock to safeguard quality standards during the production process.
Together with extensive quality control plans and laboratory analyses by accredited laboratories in Germany and abroad, our quality management, hygiene concepts and preventive programs help us meet the high standards we impose on our semi-finished and finished products and the packaging we use.
As a result, we far exceed the statutory requirements in Europe. We ensure the constant trackability of all the raw and other materials used for our products, thus guaranteeing maximum product safety.
Climate and environmental protection are central to our activities. We have had an energy management system in place for several years, and have been certified in compliance with ISO 50001 since 2015.
Our goals are to significantly reduce CO2 emissions and to use all energy resources, e.g. electricity and gas, as efficiently as possible.
Nobody knows the company as well as our staff. We implement their ideas in the form of energy efficiency projects and environmental protection measures.
We insist on honest, ethical behaviour in all areas of our business. This is expressed in the Deuerer code of ethics. Along with the central principles of environmental protection and responsibility, this covers the topics of integrity, social responsibility, dealing with business partners, management principles, confidentiality and data protection.
